LCFE Launches New Day Prospectus 2011/12

Date: 13 Jan 2011

Limerick College of Further Education (LCFE) has just launched the new Day Prospectus for its full-time courses for the 2011/2012 academic year.  The new look prospectus design, undertaken by Neville Design Group, presents the information on the College and its courses in a fresh, bright and learner-focused layout. LCFE is the largest provider of Further Education/PLC courses in the Mid West region. With more than 50 courses on offer in the new 92-page prospectus, the College is able to satisfy almost everyone’s desire to acquire knowledge-based skills and awards.

Commenting on the new prospectus design, LCFE Director, Pat Maunsell, said, “In my opinion, I think this publication is the best we have produced to date. This year the prospectus is larger in size, has more colour and included some of our own learners in the covers and internally also. I think our final product is something we can be very proud of.” The College Director paid tribute to PR Officer, Hilary McCann, for leading the project and to Deputy Directors, Hanora Hartnett and Cliona O’Kelly who also helped to bring the project to completion.

With the dramatic increase in enrolments in the past two years, LCFE is a dynamic and thriving educational environment. Newly refurbished and reequipped, the setting lends itself to the smooth acquisition of awards for those willing to make the required effort. These awards are designed to prepare holders for progression to higher-level awards in Institutes of Technology (IOT’s), Universities and other Colleges. Awards can also lead people directly into the workplace.

In the 2011/2012 academic year, the College is offering new courses in Environmental Science and Equine Studies (Level 5) and also Tourism and Travel Services at Level 6. Read more about these courses and others by picking up a copy of the new LCFE Prospectus 2011/12 at the College campus on Mulgrave Steet or download a copy from this site by clicking here. Alternatively, call LCFE Admissions on (061) 414 344 to request a copy in the post.
