Speakers for the event included Kieran MacSweeney, President, Limerick Chamber; Kieran McDermott, McDonalds Restaurants, Ennis and Shannon; Dee Ryan, Director, Spark Marketing and Olivia O'Sullivan, Public Relations professional and Contributing Fashion & Beauty Editor, Limerick Post. A number of former LCFE Learners also addressed the forum, giving an insight into their journey from study to the work environment.

Commenting on the highly successful event, College Director, Pat Maunsell, said, “Despite the difficult economic environment, I was very encouraged to see such support within the local business and media community for the learners in our College. I believe it is through events like this that we can foster greater links between LCFE and local business and also develop optimism for our economy and the jobs market in Limerick and beyond in the long-term”.
